2026 Calendar Photo Contest
Here’s your chance to be in First State’s 2026 calendar! Submit your own original Nebraska landscape photos for a chance to be featured!
Now until June 30, 2025, we are accepting photo entries of Nebraska landscapes for our 2026 calendar. We will select finalists from all submissions to move on to public voting. Our voting period on Facebook will be from July 7-16. The three images that receive the most likes in each season/category will be featured in our 2026 calendar.
All winning photographers will be credited with their name and photo title printed under their images. Photographers will also receive five calendars and a $50 First State Visa® Gift Card for each winning image.
How to submit your entries:
Please upload your entries to ShareFile - First State Bank Nebraska using the steps below.
To submit your entries:
- Name your file using your photo’s title along with your name, i.e. “PhotoTitle_JaneDoe”
- Please upload your entries to 1fsb.sharefile.com/share/filedrop
- Please include your email address, first name, and last name. (This information will only be used to contact you about your submission.)
- Choose “Epp, Savanna” as the recipient.
- Choose the file you would like entered and click upload.
- You will need to submit each entry separately.
Each photographer can submit up to 5 entries. A maximum of two images per photographer can win. All entries must be received by 11:59p CST on June 30, 2025 to be considered. Entries will not be accepted unless submitted via the official contest channel. Entries not submitted through the proper channel will be deleted.
Image specifications:
- All photos must be original work, taken by the entrants. No third party may own or control any materials the photo contains, and the photo must not infringe upon the trademark, copyright, intellectual property rights or rights of privacy of any entity or person.
- Only digital entries in (.jpg) or (.tiff) formate will be considered.
- The photo must be in its original state and cannot be altered in any way, including but not limited to removing, adding, reversing or distorting subjects within the frame.
- For printing purposes, all images selected for final calendar will need to be high resolution.
- Photos will only be considered if they are horizontal and meet high resolution file requirements of 300 dpi and at least 12” x 10” or 3600 x 3000 px.
- Full color photos only, no black and white images.
- Horizontal Nebraska landscape images only.
- Photos including wildlife within the scenery will be considered. (Please do not have animals as the focal point.)
- Images with people or logos will not be considered.
- Due to calendar dimensions, photos may be cropped. This may alter the composition of your photo.
By submitting your image, you are giving First State Bank Nebraska permission to retouch the image as necessary for printing purposes.
Remember the deadline for your photography submissions is Monday, June 30, 2025!
Must be 19 to enter. By submitting your image, you agree to release your image for reproduction by First State in the calendar, in possible future publications and for advertising purposes. No purchase necessary. Need not be a First State customer to participate. The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. A maximum of two images per photographer can win. The maximum gift card amount per person is $100. No substitutions are permitted. All decisions are final. First State Bank Nebraska reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is deemed inappropriate or does not conform to stated contest rules. The prize must be collected by the winner and is nontransferable. The winners will be contacted via the email address provided during entry. If not response is received after three business days, a new winner will be selected and the previous winner will forfeit all rights to the prize.
