First State Bank Nebraska Welcomes Eric Koenig as Chief Operations Officer
First State Bank Nebraska is pleased to announce the hiring of Eric Koenig as the bank’s new Chief Operations Officer. Eric succeeds Steph Mencl, who is transitioning into a new role on First State’s deposit team.
Eric brings nearly 20 years of banking experience to First State, with a background spanning lending, retail banking, operations, and information technology. Throughout his career, he has led initiatives focused on improving customer experience, enhancing banking technology, and supporting community banking across Nebraska.
