Your Guide to Digital Banking

The digital era has changed the way we shop, talk to our friends and even the way we bank. While you used to have to walk into a brick-and-mortar branch to open an account or deposit a check, now practically all your basic banking needs can be handled from the comfort of your home or while you’re on the go.

Digital banking encompasses all online and mobile banking services. While there are a few differences in which transactions and services you can reach in online and mobile banking, many of them are the same. As long as you have your phone or computer and an internet connection, you can deposit a check, pay a friend, or even secure your debit card by turning it off when you aren’t using it.

Online Account Opening

No need to make a trip to the bank, you can apply for a new account from the comfort of your couch. Online Account Opening takes the hassle out of opening your next account. On your own time, you can begin your application and save it for later if you are unable to complete the form in one setting. You’ll be notified by the bank when your account is set up and ready for you to start using.

Mobile Deposits

Mobile Deposit lets you deposit checks directly into your account from anywhere using your smartphone. No need to leave your house. Using your Mobile Banking App, you can simply take photos of the front and back of your checks. Your deposit will show as pending until it is posted to your account usually the next business day. You can review the transaction’s status at any time within the Mobile Banking App by viewing your Deposit History.

Online Bill Pay

Paying bills can be a hassle. Online Bill Pay allows you to manage your bills when and where you want. Not only will you save money on stamps and envelopes, you’ll also be able to schedule your payment dates in advance to avoid late fees. Whether you need to pay your dentist or your water bill, Bill Pay allows you the convenience of online payments with the peace of mind that every payment is secure.
